Welcome!

Welcome to the Falls Creek Mural Project blog!

We're excited about this new addition to afternoon free time this summer.  We hope to engage students with an opportunity to use their artistic talents to further explore this year's theme passage: Psalm 103.

Each week, 20 students will be selected from youth pastor/leader recommendations to participate.  Students will work together to plan, design, and paint two 4' x 8' panels. The finished mural will be 4' x 128' and will be located outside of the Missions Plaza.

We hope to use this blog to chronicle the mural's creation over the span of eight weeks. The mural's aesthetic concept is derived from Illuminated Manuscripts from the Gothic and Medieval periods and will depict Psalm 103. Each panel will be unique, so we're excited to see the mural come to life at Falls Creek.

Do you know a student that would like to get involved?  Let us know!  Visit www.skopos.org/fc-muralproject to make your recommendation.

Here is more information on applying:
